Rich Julien is a highly experienced executive with extensive expertise in technology, analytics, operations, and management in both Federal and Commercial domains. He has over 25 years of experience specializing in Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism, National and international security issues, Organizational design and transformation, High level organizational programmatics, Technology evaluation and insertion, Legislative Affairs, Program Management, Budgetary design and submission, Systems Design and Engineering, Program Oversight, Training and training program design, development and implementation.

Rich is currently the Global Head, National Security and Space Startups for AWS Worldwide Public Sector, where he focuses on putting Amazon’s powers to work on behalf of startups and their investors by bringing the right technical and business capabilities to enable growth, identifying the right partners to scale, and connecting them with Public Sector customers who desperately need their innovation. He has vast knowledge and experience in the government market and knows how to penetrate that market and solve challenges.

He studied BA in History, Political Science, International Relations at the University of Southern California.
