With a strong educational foundation, Mike holds degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University Graduate School of Education, Yale Law School, and Yale University, specializing in Education Policy, School Administration, Law, English, and Philosophy.

Throughout his career, Mike has held various impactful roles including State Senator at the Colorado Senate, Education Advisor for Obama for America, and leadership positions in pioneering educational organizations like New Leaders for New Schools and Mapleton Public Schools.

Mike's dedication to education is evident from his experience as a former teacher at Greenville High School, principal at Joan Farley Academy, and his contributions as an author to 'In the Deep Heart's Core'. Beyond education, Mike also ventured into sports as a flag football coach, showcasing his diverse interests and skills.
