Matthias Hendrichs is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in world-class corporations, strategy consulting, and digital startups across Europe and Asia Pacific. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Bayreuth. Hendrichs has held several leadership roles in various industries such as entertainment/media, luxury retail, and chemicals. He has been associated with companies like Apple, Booz&Co, LVMH, BASF, and Bertelsmann amongst others. Currently, Hendrichs heads the Apple iTunes / App Store Retail & Payments business across more than twenty markets in Asia Pacific, including Greater China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, and Thailand. He has also been an interim executive for digital transformation for DFS Travel Retail at LVMH and the Managing Partner & Practice Lead for Digital at Gao Feng Advisory Company. Furthermore, Hendrichs is the founder of various digital startups, including a US$1.5B unicorn. He is a regular keynote speaker at conferences and an author of award-winning viewpoints and articles in various trade publications. Additionally, he has studied Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Specialization in finance at The Wharton School.
