Carmela Tran

Carmela Tran is an accomplished accounting and operations manager with extensive experience in data analysis, fraud investigations, financial modeling, and strategic implementation. With eight years of experience at PwC's Advisory practice, she has led large-scale and complex projects advising clients on tactical financial construction and implementation. Currently, she is a Manager of Advisory Services at Caroprese & Company, with a focus on Accounting Advisory.

Carmela holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business with a double major in Accounting and Operations and Information Management. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Virginia and a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs and the AICPA.

In addition, Carmela has expanded her skillset from leveraging her knowledge of extracting insights from historic dataset analysis into more predictive analytics with expertise in preventive analytics, data optimization, cleansing, transformation, and master data management. She has completed General Assembly's Data Science course and is continually developing her skill set.
