Asish Thakur is a business enthusiast and sustainability advocate with an impressive academic background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Kings College, a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from Kathmandu University School of Education, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Quantic School of Business and Technology.

As the Executive Director of Glocal Pvt Ltd, Asish is working to bridge the gap between education and employability. He has developed several training, engagement, and empowerment programs to help young people in Nepal build up an entrepreneurial mindset. As a firm believer in collaboration, Asish has created various platforms for youth exposure and skill enhancement, including Glocal Teen Hero and Entrepreneurship and Self-Competency Programs.

Asish has traveled to various countries, including the US and Germany, to learn from different people, perspectives, and ideas. He was recognized as a Forbes Fellow in 2018 by Forbes Media and has served as Advisor for Youth, Skills and Entrepreneurship at Chief Minister of Bagmati Province, Government of Nepal. He has also worked as Managing Director at Fantastic Four Enterprises Pvt. Ltd, Cozy Home B&B, Glocal After School, and Open Space Nepal, among other organizations.
