Danette Jubinville

Danette Jubinville is a driven and accomplished individual with an impressive background in textiles and fashion. After being hired by women's boutique retailer Aritzia fresh out of college, Danette quickly advanced and eventually became the youngest manager in the product division at that time. She left the company at the age of 23 to pursue a degree in First Nations Studies at UBC, where she was recognized for her dedication to education and her major. Throughout her career, Danette has worked for apparel giant lululemon athletica and the Ministry of Aboriginal Relations and Reconciliation, where she gained experience in community engagement, youth advocacy, social innovation, food security, and traditional medicine. Additionally, Danette has a passion for empowering Aboriginal women and girls, as well as living responsibly on the earth. In the future, she hopes to create opportunities that blend her interests in textiles, fashion, wellness, and community empowerment.
