Barry Evans is an accomplished technology executive with a diverse background spanning from engineering to sales and marketing. He has studied both Electrical Engineering and Entrepreneurship earning degrees from The University of Texas at Austin and Boston University, respectively. Barry has held leadership positions in various technology companies including Mesosphere, DataStax, and Marvell Semiconductor, to name a few. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he currently leads the Application Modernization Lab. Prior to AWS, Barry was the Lead for Container, DevOps, and Security Ecosystems at Google. Additionally, he founded and served as CEO of Calxeda, Inc., a tech company that specialized in powering cloud and data center servers using mobile SoCs. Barry's expertise in application modernization, technology ecosystems, and semiconductor processors make him a valuable asset to any technology-focused organization.
