Things I built: Dynamic grouping script for Ansible hosts:  - written in Python  - allowed users to choose what host a given Ansible role or playbook should be execute on at run timeFront-end form and back-end functionality to edit hosts in Ansible:  - Rundeck for front-end and python for back-end  - mainly for less technical folks who need to edit host informationWeb App to manage FIX connections:  - written in NodeJS  - replaced manual execution on individual machines saving 100s of hours XML to YAML parser:  - written in Python  - converted XML file with information on over 100 hosts into YAML  - this allowed Ansible to easily consume the hosts and allowed us to run automation on themContinuous backup into DR:  - used Gitlab runner/CI and a nightly Python job that checks that the two instances are in syncScript that runs a given SQL query across all prod DBs:  - written in Powershell  - front-end in Rundeck that allowed the user to choose the SQL query from a dropdownAutomation for creating new VMs and installing proprietary software and packages:  - written in Ansible, deployed to VSphere  - reduced our time for creating a new VM from 2 weeks to 2 hours

Things I built in 2017:Web app reporting system for large scale commercial use:  - written in PHP, JSP, MSSQL, and JS  -  replaced our old system that was clunky and slow with something flexible and responsive  -  I learned all of these technologies on the job and was able to ship production code in just 3 months Excel macro for larger reporting tasks:  - written in VB  - the excel macro set up a direct JDBC connection with the database to pull information in as quickly as      possibleI also made some changes to our code base for an upcoming deadline. I discussed the changes they wanted made with our CEO and Head Software Engineer and delivered them on-time.

Part-time Spring and Fall Semester 2017.I designed new website layout for the Department through WordPress and uploaded faculty updates and pertinent information to the website. I scanned and tabulated course reviews and student data. Also, I had the privilege to compete against the faculty in crossword puzzle races.

Office Assistant for Philosophy and Religion

Part-time Spring and Fall Semester 2017I tutored for the introductory Computer Science course in the Spring and Fall semesters. I held office hours where any student can come in and ask questions about assignments and readings, graded and gave feedback on homework every week,  and graded midterms and finals. It's taught me a lot about teaching and how students learn best as well.  It's also forced me to explain difficult concepts to people in a variety of ways.

Tutor for Fundamentals of Computer Science I

Full time from June to September 2016. Part-time from September to May 2017. Serviced hundreds of backlogged records each day for insureds.
