Jim Warren is a seasoned in-house corporate lawyer with extensive experience in financial reporting, investor relations, corporate governance, executive compensation, business development, commercial contracts and intellectual property. With a background in engineering and law, Jim is a dealmaker focused on creating value for his clients. He is a tech-fluent attorney who grasps innovative technologies and the strategies needed to bring them to market. He has worked with emerging and growth stage companies building to success, advising publicly traded and privately held companies in numerous middle-market transactions.

Jim has also counseled clients on mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions, including capital-raising transactions in specialized industries, such as bank holding companies and oil and gas producers. Throughout his career, he has always applied a pragmatic, business-focused approach while prioritizing risk management.

Jim holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is currently the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Energy Focus, Inc.
