Cynthia Winton-Henry is a renowned author, teacher, and consultant in the field of body wisdom, creativity, and spirituality. With a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master's degree in Theology and the Arts from Pacific School of Religion, Cynthia is an expert in unlocking the wisdom of the body and soul with an active, creative approach. She has also studied doctoral studies in Multicultural Education and Theology and the Arts at the Western Institute for Social Research and Graduate Theological Union, respectively. Cynthia has authored several books, including "Move: What the Body Wants," "Dance: The Sacred Art," and "Chasing the Dance of Life: A Faith Journey."

Cynthia is highly skilled in using InterPlay, the Enneagram, and Racial Equity and Transformation to help individuals unleash their souls' creativity and potential. She is the lead at The Hidden Monastery, where she offers the year-long course, Twelve Initiations in the Art of Ensoulment, and consults with leaders interested in unlocking body wisdom. Cynthia has previously served as the Executive Director of InterPlay/Body Wisdom, Inc. and co-founded InterPlay, a transformative movement and creative process that combines dance, storytelling, and more. She has also been a teacher at the Professional Chaplains Conference, Sophia Center at Holy Names University, and an Adjunct Faculty at Pacific School of Religion.
