Michael Erlandson has an extensive professional background in aviation maintenance and facilities planning. He has a current Top Security Clearance and is an A&P-IA, RII, R&E/FCC, Pilot, DOT/Hazmat Qualified, Journeyman Mechanic/registered FAA Aircraft Broker. Erlandson is a quality-driven individual with a wealth of experience in aviation maintenance, aircraft inspections, and maintenance project management.
Erlandson has served as a Manager and Quality Compliance Representative to the FAA, and has a complete working knowledge of FAR's 91/121/145 and part 135 FAA operations. He is Six Sigma/ISO compliant and has a thorough understanding of DOD, Mil Spec, OSHA, State and Federal Regulations, and FAR's. Erlandson is also an accomplished GSE/Facility Maintenance Engineer, and has a comprehensive understanding of compliance to FAA unauthorized parts.
He holds degrees in Commercial and Industrial Economics, Aviation Technology with an emphasis on Aviation Management/Structures and Composites, and Aviation Technology. Erlandson is currently working on an Environmental Services Fellowship.
Erlandson previously served as Director/Maintenance Management and Senior Consultant for Erlandson Aviation, a company that he owned and operated. He has also served as a Senior Consultant for Erlandson Aviation Academy USA and Erlandson Aviation Inc.
