With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theater Arts: Film Emphasis from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Alexis's most recent work involved completing a 10-minute promo for the city of Shenzhen, China. He has a proven track record of successfully developing, creating and delivering award-winning dramatic and science-fiction shorts, narrative features, commercials, and documentaries. His color grading experience extends across a broad range of projects from promos, shorts, video art, narrative features, and series including 4K in High Dynamic Range (HDR). Alexis is a formidable trainer and speaker whose seminars have been held across the world, including China, Columbia University, and Norway's Broadcast Mountain symposium, among others. He has also served as a Workflow Architect at Frame.io, Freelance Writer, Director at Bog Simple Productions, LLC, and a Colorist at Twitch, and an Application Consultant at Blackmagic Design, among other positions.
