Maarten Bakker
Maarten Bakker is an experienced infrastructure project initiator and facilitator. With a focus on traffic, transportation, and infrastructure, his experience spans across local, regional, and national levels. Having played a key role in various transportation improvement projects, he has recently been involved in large-scale bike parking initiatives, R-net public transport improvements, and bicycle network subsidy projects in the Amsterdam region.
Maarten holds a degree in Management, Economics, and Law from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, as well as a Master's in Urban Planning from the University of Amsterdam. His broad perspective, scientific approach, analytical skills, flexibility, and enthusiasm have helped him excel in his roles as an Infrastructure Policy Officer and Project Manager at the Vervoerregio Amsterdam and Stadsregio Amsterdam.
