Jennifer Ko

Jennifer Ko is a multi-talented professional with years of experience in Advertising, Marketing, and Communications. Her passion for storytelling and creativity has led her to thrive in various environments, including managing brand and marketing operations at Belwop Rescue Centre & Children's Home, teaching yoga at Fit n Fast - FNF and CorePower Yoga, and devising strategic plans for ClassPass. Jennifer furthered her education by obtaining a B.A. in International Studies from the University of California, Irvine, and an A.A. Professional Designation in Merchandise Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She completed her Master of Arts thesis in poverty alleviation, which focused on the media's portrayal of poverty and how it impacts the public's perception of the issue.

As a Founders Fellow at On Deck and a former storyteller at Hevel Studio, Jennifer's newest endeavor aims to bring a voice to the lesser-known and aid in accurately portraying poverty in the media. Jennifer's expertise in communications planning, media coordination, public relations, and partner success management serve her well in her current and future endeavors. Her dedication to making the world a more equitable place by educating and informing people about poverty and injustice sets her apart as a change-maker in society.
