I worked in Storey House on Stanford University's campus mentoring high school students over the age of 18 that were living at Stanford to take summer classes. Our 37 students came from over 15 different countries and it was an incredible experience to foster a sense of community and learn from each of them.

I assisted in data entry and analysis for the Fragile X Longitudinal Research Study in the psychiatry lab of Dr. Allan Reiss in the Stanford School of Medicine.

Completed my internship for the Human Biology major over the Summer of 2010 and Winter of 2011. 
Teacher in a class of 35 three-to-five-year-olds.
Mediated conflict negotiation, helped teach emotional self-control, provided assistance and encouragement in learning new skills, ensured productive play.
Helped set up and clean up the classroom each day.

Stanford University Bing Nursery School

Teaching Intern

Office Team member for Stanford Grad Crew.
Grad Crew sets up all of the stages, chairs, tables, equipment, tents, etc for each individual Stanford graduation as well as the main ceremony in the stadium.
Office Team oversaw logistics, provided a central headquarters for teams coming and going for the day, centralized radio use, and managed the scheduling of hours and teams.

Stanford Events and Labor Services

Grad Crew Office Team

Lived in a house with 60 high school students taking Stanford summer classes in an RA-like position.
Organized and chaperoned entertainment events such as outdoor movie night, SF Giants Baseball Game, SF Scavenger Hunt, etc.
Oversaw implementation of rules and regulations; ensured that students followed policies.
Helped lead house meetings every week and facilitated house bonding.

Stanford High School Summer College

Oversaw entrance and exit of gym patrons.
Ensured that gym policies are followed for the safety and well-being of all patrons.
Opening and closing duties, including monetary transaction reconciliation.
Handle check-out and return of gym equipment.

Front Desk Supervisor

Made sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, gelato, frozen yogurt, and pizza; served customers.
Opened the deli in the morning, closed it at night, cleaned appliances, dishes, floors, etc.
Took down and helped prepare catering orders.
Handled monetary transactions.
