Brandon Leafman

Brandon Leafman, a tech enthusiast with a lifelong passion for computers and technology, discovered his love for coding at the age of 9 when he played games on his grandfather's office computer.

Starting from tinkering with Windows 98 driver config files to enable gaming, Brandon transitioned to mastering Java and C before focusing on JavaScript and TypeScript in recent years.

Brandon's expertise lies in building applications and services using TypeScript, React, Redux, Express, and Node.js, with a preference for Postgres or Mongo as backend databases. He is well-versed in Docker, Serverless Framework, and Next.JS for deployment.

Educationally, Brandon pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego and completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive program at Hack Reactor.

Professionally, Brandon has held roles such as Staff Software Engineer, Senior Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, and Web Developer at iFIT. He also has diverse work experience at companies like Travelstride, MongoDB, Google, Zenefits, and College Works Painting.
