Christopher Tokita
Christopher Tokita is a computational biologist and social scientist who combines his technical expertise with a passion for social issues. He earned his B.S. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from Yale University and went on to pursue his Ph.D. in Computational Biology at Princeton University, where he was also an NSF Graduate Research Fellow. His research focuses on using computational modeling and data science to examine collective behavior, information spread, and social networks within various social systems, from ant colonies to social media. In addition to his academic pursuits, Christopher has experience working in public policy at both the state and federal level and has served as a Head Diversity Fellow, working to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in graduate education.
