Discovery is a global media company currently playing catch up in the digital video streaming space.
In this context, I delivered UX for a Live and On Demand (VOD) tech platform, documenting modules available to new Discovery VOD products and properties, globally.
Included were full journeys for Authentication, Subscription, Self-Service and Playback for all platforms.
I used a double diamond approach: investigating the existing back-end solution, the existing front-end components, main products business requirements, measuring gaps against their competitors and analysing customer feedback sources to gather valuable insights and collaboratively produce journeys that could adapt to multiple users needs.

Massive is an agency focusing mainly on OTT projects. I've worked mainly on the native redesign of a customer facing OTT product for a major Sports Entertainment group based in the US, but with global reach and penetration.
It is a subscription service delivering Video on Demand and Live content on all platforms: I've been the UX Designer delivering the Native experience for iOS and Android devices.

While at Massive, I've also worked on a few other OTT products, including:
-  Live features for Massive's OTT platform as a service, AXIS (UX and UI)
-  A multi-platform sports streaming service based in the US (UX for all platforms)
-  A tvOS Live product for a North American broadcaster (UI)

Worked on white-labeling the DAZN experience for a major american sports league on a world-wide distribution scale.

Perform

I’ve worked on two OTT projects for Perform Group: the main product (DAZN) is a subscription based streaming service broadcasting major sport events to users across the following platforms

1. Responsive web
2. Mobile native apps
3. Living room connected devices: Smart TVs, set-top boxes, appleTV, gaming consoles, etc

When I left, the service was available in three territories: Germany, Swiss and Austria (DACH), Japan and Canada. It is now quickly expanding globally.
Among other things, I’ve redesigned content navigation for web and native apps, redesigned content discovery for all platforms, redesigned the native apps experience using mobile native patterns and improving content discovery. The latter was particularly successful as ratings on both native stores raised from barely 3 stars to 4+ stars on first release.
I’ve also worked on white-labeling the main product for a major american sports league on a world-wide distribution scale.

Lead UX/UI Designer

01design, later rebranded as 01tribe, was the first italian digital agency working on mobile formats: in the early days I used to design and develop flashlite apps for Nokia devices, later I moved into designing iOS apps, and designing and developing the front end for mobile websites for italian luxury and automotive brands.
