It was an old yellow bucket under the kitchen sink at my childhood home that was the inspiration for The Puke Bucket.

Focused on developing the perfect solution that would address some of the most common challenges that come with vomiting, I designed the Puke Bucket to help alleviate those added discomforts.

An 18-month process, I worked with a team of product developers to design each aspect of the Puke Bucket considering the needs and desires of the user. Molded to comfortably cradle the face, this design feature helps to keep hair out of the eyes and receptacle, and the patented "anti-splash back apparatus" helps protect the face. The two easy-grip handles help secure the bucket and can easily be used to hang on nearby headboards, bed rails, and chairs.

Earning a “Featured Product” badge from Amazon, The Puke Bucket is popular among pregnant women, young parents, medical patients, and others, and has generated some of the most clever customer reviews.

The Puke Bucket

Frustrated by the lack of community responsibility for cleaning up their pets' waste in our public parks, I contacted representatives from Denver’s Parks and Recreation Department and introduced the idea of Poo Free Parks®.

A community-focused program, Poo Free Parks was concepted and designed to promote good citizenship while generating revenue to help offset the taxpayer's liability for each waste station.

Offering highly visible, yet subtle advertising opportunities on each pet waste station, businesses reached a captured audience to promote their brand without the competition of other advertising muting their message.

Further advancing the value proposition of Poo Free Parks, we developed an iPhone App which recorded usage information for each dispenser across the country. This tracking mechanism provided valuable maintenance and replenishment data for participating agencies.

-  Partnered with 31 park systems, municipalities and state governments to grow the Poo Free Parks initiative.

Focused on generating advertising sales revenue for KTCL radio Denver, I sold and secured media placements across all genres and drive times. Researching and identifying potential advertising partners, I cultivated relationships, soliciting new and incremental business.

Offering various promotional opportunities to advertisers, I assembled innovative advertising packages, sponsorship programs and designed on-site promotions that engaged existing and new program audiences.

Instrumental in creating the now annual KTCL Keggs & Eggs St. Patrick's day party, this free concert event, is considered to be the biggest St. Patrick's Day party in Colorado.

Exploring alternative distribution channels to reach targeted consumer audiences, Comcast Spotlight introduced on-premises advertising within local shopping malls.

Selected to help launch and run this new initiative, I was instrumental in securing advertising placements that were projected on large broadcast monitors throughout the mall.

Meeting with mall tenants, managers, and surrounding community businesses, I cultivated and built relationships, growing a receptive and engaged community of advertisers. Successfully generating targeted revenue benchmarks, I helped position the platform for continued growth and profitability.
