Gary Rand is an accomplished director of worship activities and adjunct professor at McCormick Theological Seminary, with a background in pastoral experience at various churches. Most recently, he served as the Pastor of Worship and the Arts at LaSalle Street Church. With extensive experience leading worship services, Gary is known for his ability to bring creativity, energy, and reverence to the experience. He has a deep passion for cultivating a worship environment that engages the congregation and creates meaningful connections between God and His people.
As an adjunct professor, Gary has developed a wealth of knowledge on theology, liturgy, and the arts, and is committed to fostering creative critical thinking skills in his students. He has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan and a Masters of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary.
