Through Drexel University's  Center for the Advancement of STEM Teaching and Learning Excellence, I engaged in peer mentoring and assisted the professor in a freshman introductory course at Drexel University for Biology students. I was able to offer my own personal insights throughout my college experience, in order to help support incoming freshman. Additionally, I  arranged out of class activities to engage students intellectually and socially outside of class.

Two year summer internship engaging in breast cancer research, presenting research findings, observing the clinical care of cancer patients, and learning principles of cancer risk, treatment, and research. I was consecutively chosen as a keynote speaker for the end-of-summer research symposium, where I presented my research project under the mentorship of Dr. Martinez-Outschoorn regarding metabolic heterogeneity in the MCF7 breast cancer line.

As a member of the National Honor Society, to be in good standing with the organization the member must provide tutoring services to students who have minor lapses in their academics. As a tutor I conducted in the following:

- Taught them the essentials to good study habits and critical thinking skills. 
- Secured my student the necessary organizational skills to continue success later on in their academic career.
