Joseph Olin is an accomplished marketing professional with an extensive background in the video game industry. He studied marketing at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and has held various leadership positions throughout his career. Olin has served as president of the Global Game Jam and the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, where he currently holds the title of President Emeritus. He's also consulted for companies like Zoobe Message Entertainment and eJamming Audio and has taught courses on digital entertainment at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and the University of Southern California.

Olin's experience in the video game industry spans decades, having previously worked for companies like US Gold Eidos Interactive, MicroProse, and Elliott Portwood Studios. He's also worked in advertising for Kovel/Fuller Advertising and Della Femina McNamee and served as the Marketing & Promotions Director at Vidal Sassoon. Alongside his impressive industry experience, Olin is also a board member of the International Design Media & Arts Association.
