Philip McFarlane is a civil engineering expert with over 25 years of experience in designing, managing and rehabilitating potable water, stormwater, and wastewater systems using trenchless technology. He assists utility authorities in developing maintenance, operation, and asset management practices that optimize performance. Philip has been recognized for his contributions to the engineering profession and is passionate about improving safe water and sanitation in developing countries. He is the South Pacific Director of the Water and Sanitation Rotarian Action Group. His education includes a BE in Civil Engineering from the University of Auckland and an MBA in Technology Management from Deakin University.
