Happy Owl Studio was founded by a group of best friends on the sands of Venice Beach on the eve of the announcement of Apple’s original iPad. We’ve been Apple geeks since our paste-eating days, so we were positively giddy about the possibilities for this "magical and revolutionary" device.

After releasing a series of hit iPad cases, Happy Owl Studio has changed focus to a line of iPad POS hardware; The Cashbox, The PayStand and the PayFrame. Gizmodo called The Cashbox "the cash register of the future," and stores that have them installed have told us that they've actually had customers come back "for the awesome cash register."

As a lighter/compositor responsibilities are to take shots through the mostly automated lighting & comp pipeline and make adjustments and fixes as needed, to include matte adjustments, roto & paint fixes, some color correction, etc. on 40 episodes of digital half-hour episodes of the new PBS television series, Sid the Science Kid.

Additionally I helped design 'template' Shake comps as well as handling complicated one-off comps as needed.
