Sonal Mahajan is a highly accomplished and motivated software professional with over seven years of experience in research and development. With expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and program analysis, Sonal has solved complex software issues through her innovative thinking and problem-solving skills. As a published author of 14 technical papers and three-time recipient of the Best Paper Award, Sonal has demonstrated her excellent research and writing abilities. She was also the recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award. Additionally, she has served on review (program) committees of six conferences and three journals. Sonal holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), Computer Science degree from the University of Pune, a Master of Science (M.S.), Computer Science degree from San Francisco State University, and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Computer Science degree from the University of Southern California.

Sonal has worked in various software-related roles throughout her career. At present, she is a Research Scientist at Fujitsu Labs of America, where she is using her skills to solve challenging software problems. However, her career began with her time at Tata Consultancy Services as an Assistant Systems Engineer. Over time, Sonal progressed to more senior positions, including working as a Member of Technical Staff and then as a Software Engineer Intern at GS Lab. She also worked for Infosys, where she was a Research Intern - Global Internship, and again worked briefly as a Research Intern at Fujitsu Labs of America before becoming a Research Scientist officially.

Throughout Sonal's career, she has demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Her exceptional research skills, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities make her an invaluable asset to any organization.
