Geri Aglipay is a driven professional with a wealth of experience in advancing small business innovation, workforce development and social impact, aimed at achieving equitable economic development and education for underserved communities. As an expert in navigating small business funding linked to community and social impact, Geri brings analytical and advocacy skills focused on financial, socio-economic safety net policies affecting business from a human and financial wellness, banking and economic inclusion lens.
As a Director of Midwest Region and National Women's Entrepreneurship at Small Business Majority, Geri has served on Biden Harris Economic Policy Committee and working groups, and has led business development, innovative program and communication strategy, and evaluation design. Geri is also well-known as a strategic communicator with direct coalition-building skills, and as Co-director of Chicago Inclusive Growth Coalition, she collaborates to strengthen small business support and create uniform outcome standards, new loans and credit line products, workshops, system processes, and more. Geri's achievements also involve fundraising and grants projects administration of $5m+ projects.
