Robert Walker is a well-respected partner in the Allens Competition and Consumer Law group. With extensive experience in securing ACCC merger clearances for domestic and global deals, handling ACCC investigations and litigation, and advising on managing competition and consumer law risks, Walker has positioned himself as an expert in the field. He specializes in a range of sectors but has exceptional expertise in financial services, healthcare, energy, mining, and retail. Prior to Allens, Walker spent several years with Linklaters, where he worked on a multitude of cross-border transactions and global antitrust investigations and advised on all aspects of EU/UK competition law as well as EU trade law. Walker's educational achievements are impressive and include a First-Class Honours LLB from the University of Melbourne and post-graduate diplomas in Economics for Competition Law and European Union Law, both with top student distinctions from King's College London.
