Shawn Dawes is an accomplished entertainment professional with a diverse skill set. With over a decade of experience spanning the TV and film industries, Shawn has served in a multitude of roles ranging from assistant director and cinematographer to gaffer, grip/electric, sound mixer, and boom operator. He sharpened his skills during his time at Full Sail University, the Los Angeles Film School, and the University of Westminster where he earned an associate of science in Film/Cinema/Video Studies, a certificate of completion in Directing, Producing, and Cinematography, and a Master of Arts in Film Curation and Programming, respectively.

Shawn's extensive experience has exposed him to several companies, including Final Draft, After Dark Films, 495 Productions (HGTV show "Design Star"), and Catchphrase Entertainment. Additionally, he co-founded IndieScene and has been staff at Landmark Theatres, a senior CSR at Final Draft, Creative Executive/Producer/Writer at Shinobi Films, Marketing, and Promotions Intern at After Dark Films, Office Assistant at 495 Productions, Executive Assistant at Catchphrase Entertainment, and Shift Leader at Hollywood Video.
