Michael Crotty is a successful basketball coach, executive search consultant, and former professional basketball player. He is currently the Director of the Middlesex Magic AAU Basketball program, which focuses on using basketball as a vehicle toward higher education and life lessons for student-athletes. With teams ranging from 3rd grade to 12th grade, the Middlesex Magic program has helped hundreds of children realize their college dreams.

Crotty graduated from Williams College and later played professional basketball in Germany for one year. He then returned to the United States and worked as the Director of Player Development for the Boston Celtics. In this capacity, he worked with players and coaches on the court, liaised with corporate team members and NBA league officials, and had the honor of being part of the 2008 World Championship team. After his tenure with the Celtics, Crotty joined Daley and Associates, a boutique executive search and specialty staffing firm, where he focused on New England clients across various industries, including alternative investments, financial services, software/technology, education/non-profit, and law firms.

With specialties in Coaching, Team Building & Administration, Player Development, and College Consulting, Crotty has a diverse and valuable background. In addition to his current role as Director of the Middlesex Magic AAU Basketball program, he is also a former Co-Founder of Boston Basketball, Executive Director of BNBL at Suffolk Construction, and Senior Consultant Executive Search at Daley and Associates.
