Joe Daniels is an accomplished business lawyer with a diverse range of experience in helping startups, publicly-held technology, life science and consumer companies navigate through seed and venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. He has served as outside general counsel for numerous enterprises, providing expert guidance in everything from day-to-day business transactions to multinational strategic alliance transactions, whilst also advising and representing private equity firms and investment banks in M&A deals. Joe is a partner and co-chair for the venture capital and emerging companies group at McCarter & English, LLP, and has previously worked as a partner at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP and Loeb & Loeb LLP. He has also been a senior counsel at Norton Rose Fulbright, a senior associate attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, and an associate attorney at DLA Piper. Joe has spoken at several industry events and is well-versed in a wide range of sectors including biotech, blockchain, cleantech, fintech, life sciences, software and telecommunications.
