Brian Tobal is an expert in developing educational software and curriculums. With over a decade of experience in the field, Tobal has custom-built seven learning apps and over fifty curriculums for elementary schools, coding boot camps, and the enterprise. He also previously ran an LMS that predicted what learners were likely to forget and adjusted the materials accordingly. Tobal's most recent position was as the Head of Academics at WeWork, where he spearheaded the acquisition of the Flatiron school and managed teams responsible for building, maintaining, and acquiring new programs across multiple campuses worldwide. Tobal holds a B.S. in Technology Education and is currently pursuing a Masters in Cognitive Science, focusing on instructional technology and media, at Columbia University in the City of New York. Previously, Tobal held executive positions at SchoolHouse, Hickory, Thinkful, Boundless Learning, and Veri, and worked as a lead researcher at Context R+D and as a science and technology teacher at Harlem Children's Zone.
