Responsible for define and implement the Technical strategy, delivery and implementation of The Ocean Race from the Network and TV Broadcast point of view on the HQ in Alicante, define and implement the technology on board the boats (network, satellite connectivity, boat telemetry, cameras and TV Broadcast) and also for each stopover define and implement the TV and network for being able to deliver and broadcast the arrivals show of the boats to each stopover plus costal races and Start of a leg, this implies to provide IP coverage to an area of 10km and RF cover an area of 10-20 km. Also define and implement and maintenance of the websites, apps, Race management system (including boat analytics), website apps, and app trackers, plus the OTT Channels

Development of the new apps(iOS, Android and WindowsPhone), new responsive web site for eltiempo.es, also responsible for creating a new Analytic tool that unifies all diferent sources(DFP, Adex, Google Analytics) in a unique report, creation of new advertisement formats (Web and apps in Google DFP, Google admob) and operations for the Real Time Bidding Google tool. Technical responsible for Prisa´s Group Digital Platform. Definition and implementation of new technological architecture for the Group’s content management, federation and digital publishing.Business Intelligence (web analytics, clients and contents) and consolidation of a unique client database for the Group, with the subsequent profile and liking management in order to personalize contents and advertising according to user preferences. Working with IBM software (Cognos, Jboss, DataStage, ETL’s Jasper, Hibernate, Spring, PHP5 and Zend framework, Rest services) and Autonomy (Idol, TeamSite, Lifesite) technologies.
Technical Manager of the government funding request through the CDTI (Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology), over a 12 month period. 18 million euros allocated to this project.

Digital Platform Solutions Engineering Director

Research, analysis, scheduling, managing, development, implementation, budgets and maintenance (corrective and adaptive) for CRM, CMS (that manages sites like elpais.com, as.com, cincodias.com, cadenasero.com, los40.com, cuatro.com), WCMS (drag & drop tool for building pages in cuatro.com), Prisa’s (CMD), Mailing tool, ERP and transverse projects such as classifieds, malls, community projects (blogs, forums, user management), geopositioning and geocoding system. Working in finding the best solution applied to these projects, tuning and finding the best way to reuse these final products into all Prisa’s Business Units with high approach to results, team management and manage relationship between all the Business Units involved.

Transverse technical manager (Prisacom)

Head of Systems and Development department. Launching of the daily shipment platform of press briefings for major Press Clippings operators. This platform was developed using Java (iPlanet), Oracle, Verity as information retrieval system, Navision as ERP and GNU/Linux and Sun Solaris as Operative systems.
