Ilgar Taghiyev is an experienced banker and financial expert with a well-rounded background in financial reporting, modeling, retail banking, risk management, electronics, and automotive retail sectors. He has an excellent educational background, studying at top institutions such as Maastricht School of Management and The Johns Hopkins University. Ilgar has years of experience working in top positions, including serving as CEO at EMBAFINANS, head of Credit Department at Demir Bank, and team leader at the World Bank Group.

During his career, he founded Spendonate, a startup accelerated by Faster Capital, and MedNot. Ilgar has also served as a consultant at ECORYS Nederland B.V. and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. In his previous roles, he has shown his exceptional skills in MSME lending and headed the Corporate Banking Department at NIKOIL – Bank. Ilgar is a certified IT startups specialist from the US Department of Commerce and has studied at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
