Nika Elugardo
Nika Elugardo is a political powerhouse and community leader hailing from Massachusetts. She is the State Representative for MA 15th Suffolk and a candidate for MA 2nd Suffolk Senate. With a diverse educational background, Elugardo brings a unique perspective to her work in government and community organizing. She studied law and corporate governance at Boston University School of Law, public policy and international security at Harvard University, leadership and urban ministry at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary, and city and regional planning at MIT.
Elugardo's professional experience reflects her passion for serving and uplifting her community. She has served as the director of applied research and consulting at Emmanuel Gospel Center, as the founding director of MassSaves Financial Education Collaborative, and as a senior aide for policy and planning at the Massachusetts State House Office of Senator Sonia Chang-Díaz. She has also worked as an international leadership and systems thinking consultant, a foreclosure prevention project manager at the National Consumer Law Center, and a political researcher, writer, and events manager at Hunt Alternatives, LLC.
Throughout her career, Elugardo has dedicated herself to empowering underrepresented and marginalized communities, improving financial education and literacy, and creating systemic change through policy reform. She is a dynamic and passionate leader who is committed to making a difference in her community and beyond.
