Sally French is a well-known journalist who covers personal finance and travel for The New York Times and Wirecutter. She has extensive experience writing about credit cards, cost-effective travel strategies, and new payment technologies. Additionally, Sally is an expert in drone technology and runs the website The Drone Girl. Her coverage has earned her the title of Fortune Magazine's Most Influential Women in Drones as she provides a unique perspective on the latest developments in drones.
Before joining The New York Times Company, she managed social media for MarketWatch, wrote for the Orange County Register and the San Francisco Chronicle, and worked on data journalism projects for the non-profit organization Investigative Reporters and Editors. Sally obtained a Bachelor of Arts in German, a Bachelor of Journalism in Investigative Photojournalism, and a minor in Multicultural Studies, Cum Laude at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
