Starr Parodi is a renowned film and TV composer, pianist, and recording artist with an impressive track record in the entertainment industry. Her partnership with Jeff Fair led to the production and arrangement of the James Bond Theme, which earned them an RIAA Gold Record. Parodi collaborated on multiple award-winning TV shows and films, including High Roller and Bert Stern: Original Mad Man. She is also co-principal of Playground Hollywood Music Catalog, a popular music library. Parodi is a keyboardist, and her impressive talents gave her early fame as the late-night pianist on the Arsenio Hall Show. She has been celebrated for her musical deftness, becoming Keyboard Magazine's most influential contemporary keyboardist. In 2009, she became the first woman to have her concert orchestral works performed at the Laguna Arts Pageant Of The Masters, where she currently is a featured composer in residence. Her solo piano recording Common Places was honored as Solo Piano CD of the Year and was commended by KCRW's Chris Douridas.
