Sheel Tyle is a seasoned entrepreneur, investor, and legal professional with an impressive record of launching successful startups, leading boards of directors, and providing strategic guidance to emerging companies. Tyle holds a Doctor of Law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology and Public Policy from Stanford University. He also completed a Graduate Certificate in Product Creation and Innovative Manufacturing and studied at Harvard Business School.

Before founding Amplo, Tyle worked as Principal and Co-Head Seed Practice at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), one of the world's largest venture capital firms. He also served as a Board Observer at Robinhood, an online brokerage platform that disrupted the financial industry, and as Investor at Bessemer Venture Partners. Tyle was also a Business Development and Product professional at Skybox Imaging, a satellite imagery company that was acquired by Google in 2014.

Throughout his career, Tyle has sat on the boards of dozens of startups in various sectors, including AI, healthcare, and fintech. He was a Board Director at Helm.ai, a self-driving technology company, and Two Chairs, a mental health startup. He also advised FiscalNote, a technology platform for government affairs professionals, and served on the boards of Doxel.ai, Andela, and LearnUp, among others.

Today, Tyle focuses on running Amplo, a venture capital firm that invests in founders who are tackling some of the world's most pressing challenges, such as climate change, healthcare, and education. He brings his extensive experience in law, business, and technology to help Amplo's portfolio companies thrive.
