Jon Herzenberg is an experienced educator who has been working in schools for over 20 years. He holds a Psy D in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University-San Francisco Bay, a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has studied at various other institutions, including the State University of Malang and Shandong University. As a High School Principal at The American School in Japan, Herzenberg has shown his commitment to innovation, admissions and marketing, fundraising, organizational psychology, hiring, and retaining expert staff, as well as providing administrative and program management support to create an equitable and inclusive school community.

He has served as a Board Member at East Bay School for Boys and Co-founder Presenter at The Boys Project. He was also the Founding Director of Player to Player (P2P), a program that helps young athletes build character and leadership skills. He has previously worked as an Associate Head of School at Drew School, an Educational Consultant in private practice, a Program Therapist at Seneca Center, and a Student Advocate at the Fremont Union High School District. Furthermore, he has provided psycho-educational support for children and teens and their families from diverse backgrounds, including those with a learning difference.

In his work, Herzenberg believes in nurturing the innate individual gifts, talents, and potentials of students. He seeks to create intentional student-centered schools that impact the trajectory of children's lives positively. He values exceptional EQ and is committed to being a lifelong learner with a growth mindset. His background in Clinical Psychology and Cultural Anthropology helps him better understand and address the needs of his students and create transformative school-based programs.
