Amelia Muller
Amelia Muller is an accomplished urban planner and civic designer with extensive experience in economic development, planning and design, and civic innovation. She is currently serving as the Civic Design Principal in City of Birmingham Mayor's Office, where she is leading a team to create innovative solutions to address key challenges in the city. Before joining the city government, she worked in higher education and digital strategy at Google, Blue State, and Harvard College, where she learned about how technology and urban planning can shape opportunity in communities. Her mission is to create more equitable, vibrant and dynamic cities in the South.
Muller's extensive education includes a Master's degree with distinction in Urban Planning from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, a Bachelor's degree magna cum laude with highest honors from Harvard University, and Core: Credential of Readiness from HBX / Harvard Business School. She also previously worked as a Planning Intern at Agency Landscape + Planning, and as an Admissions Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
