Javier Vela is an experienced industrial engineer with a focus on construction and an MBA degree from EOI Business School. He has over a decade of experience in managing renewable energy projects across the globe, including Europe, America, and Africa. Javier has worked with leading companies in the field, and his expertise lies in onshore and offshore wind farms, PV plants, and hydropower stations. As an international project manager, he has contributed to the development and execution of several turnkey/EPC projects.

Javier is skilled in negotiating international FIDIC contracts, managing procurement, engineering, construction, and commissioning. He specializes in developing PLAs and managing cash flows, business budgets, and planning. With an impressive skill set in project and program management, productivity, and stakeholder engagement, Javier exhibits empathy, flexibility, and the ability to think outside the box. He has a native Spanish, fluent English, and basic knowledge of German, Portuguese, Italian, and French.
