Jack, Kathy G

Kathy G. Jack is an experienced Program Director and researcher with a strong background in environmental technology, conservation, and community health. With over two decades of experience, Kathy is known for her energetic and creative problem-solving skills, focusing on systems-level outcomes, behavior change, stewardship, and sustainable technologies. She specializes in renewable energy and nature-based strategies for enhancing community resilience.

Kathy G. Jack holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with an Independent Major in Environmental Systems and Society from Cornell University. She furthered her education by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Environmental Science with a remarkable 4.0 GPA from the University of North Texas. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University.

Throughout her career, Kathy has held key roles in various organizations. Currently, she serves as the Dallas Healthy Cities Program Director at The Nature Conservancy. Past positions include being the Conservation Program Coordinator, Sustainability Coordinator, and an Independent Contractor for Greenhouse Gas Inventory at the City of Denton. Kathy has also worked as a Project Manager at Strategic Energy Innovations, Staff and Interim Executive Director at Redwood Coast Energy Authority, and Energy Program Specialist at the City of Arcata.
