Indrek Peenmaa is a well-rounded professional who has worked in various industries throughout his career. With a Masters degree in International Business Administration, Marketing Management, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a specialization in Informatics, he has the academic credentials to excel in his chosen field. From 1999 to 2010, he worked as a software consultant, project manager, and sales consultant for different companies, including Oracle, Tietoenator Alise, and HP.

In 2010, Indrek co-founded a tourism company called Estonian Experience, which later became Nordic Experience. In his role as an organizer, he developed IT systems to support business needs and handled the back-office work. In 2020, his company acquired a majority stake in Like a Local Guide, a global platform where travelers can find cool and cozy spots where locals like to spend their time. Indrek joined the company as a business development manager to take it through the COVID period and restructure it for future growth.

Indrek's extensive expertise also includes online casino management, logistics management, and project management. He is a former member of the Estonian Founders Society, On Deck No Code Fellow at On Deck, Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN), and much more. Presently, he is working as a full-stack developer at Applaud Ltd, and formerly as a Junior Software Developer at Vali IT.
