Ritva Nilivaara is a highly qualified and motivated Master of Science in Environmental and Bioprocess Engineering with previous experience in Organic Chemistry. With a passion for developing environmental and industrial production processes, her interests lie in bioeconomy, biotechnology, and R&D. She is an innovative thinker who brings strong practical laboratory experience. Ritva is people-oriented and aims to develop both processes and people. Diligent and precise, high quality of work is her prime goal. Ritva is fluent in English and Finnish, and has knowledge of German and Swedish.

With experience in quality processes in biotechnology and water chemistry, customer care, documentation, laboratory work, field work, project planning, and presentations. She is well-versed in technology and has strong skills in MS Office, LIMS, MatLab, ArcGIS, SalesForce, and SketchUp. She has held research positions at the Finnish Environment Institute, former consultancy roles at SR Lean Team and Movable Biogas Factory, and R&D Scientist and Chief laboratory technician at BioSilta. She has also been a Chemistry Teacher at a university and summer school.

Currently, Ritva is working on projects to implement Lean methodology into various processes in the public healthcare sector. She is also developing a business idea on biogas production while searching for a full-time job in her field.
