Roni Rosenthal, Ph.D, is a senior lecturer, academic director/chair of the JDST department, and an award-winning author. With 18 years of leadership and communication experience, Dr. Rosenthal brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every role she takes on. She specializes in mentoring/training, lecturing/teaching, research, budget management, client relationships, recruiting and interviewing, advanced problem-solving abilities, strategic planning, multi-task management, conflict resolution, communications, strategic decision making, customer needs assessment, creative problem-solving, talented public speaking, and program oversight. Dr. Rosenthal holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Gratz College, a Master's degree in Sociology with a concentration in Organization Development and Strategic Planning from the University of Haifa, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Sociology with concentrations in class management, effective teaching & curricular development from the University of Haifa, and studied Innovation in Teams and Organizations at Duke University. Dr. Rosenthal is currently the Chair/Director of the JDST department at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
