Ed Cottam is an experienced academic who specializes in digitization and business simulation education. He holds a PhD from an AACSB and EPAS accredited university and currently manages the PG Digital Business Clinic module suite at Northumbria University. Ed has overseen 440+ projects and generated over £2 million worth of consultancy work for clients such as Proctor and Gamble, Akzo Nobel, Greggs and UNESCO. His research interests include entrepreneurship, sustainability, technology & networks. Ed also co-leads a team of eight academic and administrative staff on a ‘2021 Research Excellence Framework’ case study showcasing the impact of Entrepreneurial Education on client firms. Overall, Ed manages cross-functional postgraduate modules, teaching over 700 students in Newcastle, London, and Amsterdam.
