While at Microx I received valuable experience and knowledge about business and creating software.I started as general technical support for their Accounting Software package. I had received extensive knowledge from my degree on accounting principles. So I was able to hold an intelligent conversation with the many CPA's that I helped. Quickly I moved up the ranks and started to develop software. Putting my knowledge to use I created accounting software. After a couple of years I moved up the ranks to managing the deployment of off the shelf software. This included everything from programming, testing, documentation and deploying. Another part of the job that I enjoyed immensely was teaching classes on how to use the product. Another by-product of my experience is that I helped integrate the accounting software into just about every industry. Distribution and manufacturing to mention a couple. Also I did extensive work in interfacing the accounting product with a hospice product. This endeavor kept me traveling every month integrating and teaching the product for a couple of years.
