Paul Sturrock is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant who has dedicated his career to helping individuals and companies develop their entrepreneurial capacity and accelerate their ventures. With a diverse background in international business development, finance, strategic planning, and management education, Paul has become a respected mentor, board director, and consultant for founders and early-stage investors.

Paul's journey began in Silicon Valley with Advanced Cardiovascular Systems, a highly successful medical startup. He gained invaluable experience as the founding CFO for PSG, an intrapreneurial spinoff unit. After holding senior positions in Europe for Guidant, Paul joined Gynecare as the European Director, where he successfully set up operations leading to a successful exit to J&J.

Building on his expertise in entrepreneurship, Paul co-founded Slingshot Venture Development in 2001. As the director of the company, he designed and implemented entrepreneurial strategies while also developing the capability of others to do so. Paul's innovative approach led him to create Simple Venture Design, an entrepreneurial toolkit that integrates creative tools such as Effectual Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup with analytic ones. This approach has become the foundation for his teaching and the design of acceleration programs and courses for various prestigious institutions such as FFWDLondon Pre-Accelerator, Imperial College Techcelerate, and Central Saint Martins.

Paul's passion for entrepreneurship extends beyond his consulting work. He co-founded Climbworks, an organization focused on empowering individuals to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. Additionally, he has served as a partner at Ethos VO Ltd, a co-founder and curriculum designer at Fast Forward London, and an associate lecturer for the MA Innovation Management program at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.
