Courtney Walsh is a veterinary student with a passion for comparative medicine, epidemiology, pathology, and biomedical sciences. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences and her Master's Degree in Public Health Concentration in Global Health at Cornell University and Liberty University, respectively. She is currently completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Prince Edward Island and is enrolled in a Lab Animal Preceptorship at Yale University Medical School. Her experience includes developing vaccines and evaluating drug efficacy. Courtney's expertise and skills in medical research have landed her a position as a biostatistician at Yale University and she plans to continue her work in the field of medical research in a leading institution such as Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. When not in the lab or classroom, Courtney enjoys horse riding and artistic ventures.
