Michael Bowen is a highly experienced quantitative researcher and data storyteller, having worked with renowned brands such as Apple, Pepsi, and The New York Times over a 15-year career. Skilled in various multivariate statistical analyses, including segmentation, regression, and ANOVA, among others, he also boasts ample experience in qualitative research methods. Bowen holds a Master of Science in Applied Social Research from Hunter College, a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from Kent State University, and has also completed the Data Science & Analytics Bootcamp at Case Western Reserve University.
Bowen currently works at Spotify as a Staff Researcher, Growth Opportunities, and previously served as the Head of Data Foundations // Marketing Sciences at the tech giant. He has also worked as Insights Director at Siegel+Gale and Associate Director, Global Insights Lab at Sony Music Entertainment. He has an adventurous background, having co-founded Kilimanjaro Expeditions, but has since dedicated his career to conducting data-driven research for top companies.
