Martijn The
Martijn The is a highly skilled and experienced software engineer with a broad range of technical abilities. He has been programming since the age of seven and has a wealth of experience in embedded firmware, Bluetooth LE, and digital electronics. Additionally, he is proficient in a variety of programming languages, including C++, Python, and JavaScript, as well as architecting HTTP/REST web services. Martijn The is a graduate of Technische Universiteit Delft, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Design for Interaction.
Before joining Memfault as a Senior Software Engineer, Martijn The worked for a variety of companies in the technology industry, including Intel Corporation, Fitbit, and Pebble Tech. He has also founded several of his own companies, including Noodlewerk and malloc B.V. where he served as the Managing Director. Martijn The is passionate about continuous learning and exploring new technologies, and he values test-driven development, code reviews, and continuous integration as essential parts of his development process.
In his free time, Martijn The likes to reverse-engineer, poke around with gdb/lldb, and sniff traffic. He has also studied Industrial Design Engineering at Delft University of Technology and attended the INDEX Summercamp on User-Centered Design at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. He is a former co-creator & DJ at PleeReef, as well as a former concept designer at 1uptoys BV.
